Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. It is very common that children less than 6 months of age may not pass stool for sometime 1f0 days also.
Slight discomfort as well as straining while passing urine and stool is also normal.
You have to just take care of colic pain as well as gas in the abdomen and do not fworry about the frequency of the stool if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid.
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. If your baby is only being breastfed they may not poop every day. This is because their body can use up almost all the components of breast milk for nutrition and there is very little left that needs to be eliminated. After the first 6 weeks or so they can go even a week or two without a poop.
