Q.

Iam a mother of twin babies who are 2 months old. I usually give them top feed after breastfeeding. Since yesterday I noticed that although my breasts are full it's only of Colostrum. Tried expressing it through manual pump but unable to do so. Is it common or are my babies not drinking enough!!?

A. dear Mum colostrum is produced in the initial 2 to 5 days after childbirth it is not produced till 2 months do not worry about the composition of your breast milk nature and shows that it is a perfect balance of all the nutrients at 1 episode of feeding empty one breast before moving onto the other
