iam 35 week pregnant my bp readings r following in the range of 135/95 .iam using labetalol 200 mg per day and niacardia 20 mg

A. Even I was prescribed labetalol 100mg. It is safe. Don’t worry.

A. because bp is high so doctor suggested these tablets so that it may not effect the foetus in it's development

A. Your BP seems completely normal to me and pregnancy little bit up and down BP is normal so it’s not much that you need to be worried about but for what purpose are you taking these medicines I’m not aware about it so please connect with your doctor for further assistance

Q. #asktheexpert Hi, is it safe to take labetalol TDS- 100 mg 7am, 200 mg at 3pm and 100mg at 11 pm, if having high bp (going upto 140/99) in last month of pregnancy? will it affect the baby in any negative way?
