Q.

I was discharged from hospital after two days of delivery. my milk came after three days! baby was on formula for two to three days. now he refuses to breastfeed. he is three months old and still on Bottlefeed. I try to breastfeed him and he latches for a few minutes. I want to breastfeed him. is there any possibility he can breastfeed now? or should I continue formula for three more months?

A. dear Breastfeeding is best Putting baby to breast frequently to suck at each feeding and for comfort  between feedings as often as possible. Using hand expression or breast pump help from a lactational consultant who can provide the necessary support and ideas for you to resume breastfeeding.
