Q.

I used to take thyroxine 25mg for hypothyroidism during my pregnancy. After delivery, 6 weeks later I went for thyroid test and result was 4.77 TSH. Should I need to continue tablet or else no need? kindly let me know

A. yes have to continue the normal level is due to the medicine you are taking so if you will stop the medicine again the problem will start. it is important for you to know that your body is not making thyroid hormone so you will have to take the thyroid hormone from outside. meet your doctor who will tell you how to regulate the medicine intake

A. usually the tablet would have to be continued and it would be better to check with your doctor and she will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you with the right dosage as required which would be better and also safe
