Q.

I saw a new born baby with yellow eyes, the baby was in NICU for a week under observation because baby peep while delivery. We heard from parent's jaundice test all over no problem. But still eyes looking same this is seventh day. what can be the reason?

A. Don’t worry this is normal I would recommend you to start with vitamin D supplement which is actually meant to be given for one year so check with your doctor and if you give your child intellect sunlight every morning for at least half an hour to 50 minutes and that’s going to be helpful in reducing down jaundice level as well as a helpful and good absorption of vitamin vitamin D as well

A. Hi, if reports are normal then no issues, but still if you feel it not looking normal please ask the pediatrician. because delaying in any health issues or asking any doubts in case of newborn is not good. I hope it will be normal, may be after a month we can see the changes. But if you are worried consult the doctor.

A. if there is no jaundice in the report but still yellow eyes are no problem.My son have the same problem for 25 days .No jaundice in the report but yellow eyes completely normal.The yellow eyes will slowly reduce its colour.
