Q.

I m pregnant, completed 2 months. In my thyroid report, the values is in range, but doctor recommend me thyroxine sodium 25 mg. I m confused when in my report, the value is in range than why doctor suggest a medicine.

A. thyroid level values if are more than 3 then in most of the cases the medicine is being advised. You can take the minimum dose of 12 mcg at starting which will help keep your thyroid in normal stage
