Q.

I'm a mother of a 6 month old baby. We are a Bengali speaking family. Off late I have noticed that my baby responds when spoken to in Bengali but doesn't when spoken to in Hindi. Now my baby's nanny is a Hindi speaking person and she's been with us since 2 months. Issue is she always wears a mask when she's at our home so baby only recognises her by her eyes (which is visible - lips and nose are not visible) Can this be a problem since my baby is unable to lip read when she's talking to him and that is the reason he is unable to understand Hindi when someone else other than his nanny talks to him in Hindi.
