Q.

I'm a breastfeeding mother of a 4 and a half month old daughter. I got chicken pox on 9th April when my first blister visible. Within 24 hours I have started Zovirax 800 for next five days. I have been completely isolated from my daughter for 12 days and also stopped breastfeeding for 12 days. After 12 days I have recovered totally. All scabs are fall off. But there is some fatigue present in my body. My query is when should I start breastfeeding again.

A. If you’re completely alright you should continue feeding the child there is no problem with that and due to chickenpox fever these kind of things are possible so ask your doctor if you need to start with necessary supplements and have a healthy diet and easy to digest that like fibres and all which will help you in recovering better
