Q.
I'm 3rd month pregnant, my gynecologist has not given me folic acid suppliments.. is it okay to start taking folic acid suppliments from now?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children1 Year agoA. okay please talk to your gynecologist ok if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok

Yes you can take it mostly the suggested to start from the very beginning itself but since you have completed three months you can go ahead with that and take it for whole six months and after your delivery or when you’re close to your labour you can stop taking them so that is how you’re meant to take for acid for the minimum time
