Q.

I m 23 weeks pregnant now...I m suffering from placenta previa...does this affect my baby? and i m planning for normal delivery...will placenta change the position by upcoming weeks or not? shall I do yoga exercise and walking in this stage?

A. If you have placenta previa then you should be on strict bed rest and should not even strain while passing motion .It is unlikely that the placenta will move up during 23 weeks of pregnancy and there is absolutely no chance for a vagina delivery and only cesarean section is done. It is a high risk pregnancy and you have to be very careful and not even have intercourse until you deliver. They could be cases of repeated bleeding episodes and that’s why you should be on strict bed rest.Write Your Answer Here
