Q.

I have thyroid I am using 75mcg thyronom tablets from long time(last 5years).... present I am mother of 4 months baby...at pregnant time doctor said use same 75mcg power... present I have insufficient breastmilk I'm using formula milk also..I give some breast milk to my baby is the thyroid is effects my baby...can u help me

A. no it will not affect your baby Further it is advisable to consult your local doctor for proper examination if required there is need for appropriate investigations also in this regard o k

A. hi no , thyroid can not cause any problem through breastfeeding. yes ,it can pass though genes . but not necessary for a child to get this. so if your child looks happy and active, gains enough weight, achieve age appropriate milestones then no need to worry about anything.
