Q.

i have planned for second baby and now i am 43days and yesterday i went for a scan but the sac may be is the result and hearbeat is not seen is am i conform pregnancy or not. My home pregnancy test shown positive. please clarify me

A. cardiac activity may appear late in few cases so it's better that you should wait for one week more and repeat the sonography again after one week to confirm about fetal heart rate

Q. #asktheexpert I had my dating scan on my 7th week and there was gestation sac and yolk sac present but no fetal pole present and scan showed gestation of 6weeks 1 day. they have asked to do a scan after 2 weeks to check for fetal viability and I'm afraid if the fetal pole will be present in the upcoming scan.
