A. The nipple and bottle of a breast pump should be replaced periodically to ensure hygiene and functionality. Typically, nipples should be replaced every 2-3 months or sooner if you notice cracks, discoloration, or wear. Bottles can last longer but should be replaced every 6 months or immediately if they develop scratches, cracks, or a cloudy appearance. Regularly inspect the parts for damage and clean them thoroughly after each use to prevent bacterial buildup. Following the manufacturer’s recommendations for replacement is also essential for maintaining your baby’s safety and health.
