Q.

I have been taking enoxaparin 40mg since 1st month. now i am 6 month pregnant. can I stop this injection or lower the dose from 40 to 20 mg

A. The medication is very important and it to prevent clotting episodes which pregnancy already is prone it. Kindly follow your doctors advice and 40 MG is a standard dose So it can’t be reduced

A. hi mom no u should not stop or decrease the dose on ur own u need to consult with your treating gynecologist for this generally it is continued till term

Q. i am 6 weeks4 days pregnant . in the last pregnancy dr. suggest me enoxaparin injection because of my miscarriage . in the present pregnancy my dr. again suggest me the same but i have done my cbc test in that my platelet count is 124000 . so now should i continue enoxaparin nd aspirin or not ? bcz i have read that enoxaparin is responsible for low platelet count.
