Q.

I have a doubt kindly let me know as I am getting so many ambiguity in this. Should we wake up a baby for feeding if he is not crying or not latching at all if trying for dream feeding also . Can a 2 or 3 months old baby sleep in night for eight long hours after having 100 or 120 ml formula milk? If he is not crying at all during night after having this should we feed him during night or let him sleep if he isn't crying for feeding. My baby stopped crying for feeding during night after his two months when he used to have 100 or 120 before sleeping. And we didn't make him awake for feeding sometimes tried to wake him up but he was into deep sleep. And he cried sometimes after 8 hours for feeding and we fed him. Also is that to be done in every two hours gap we need to feed if he is not crying for feeding. kindly let me know.

A. I’d Just like to tell you that feeling is demand is the right thing to do if your child is sleeping for 8 to 10 hours at a stretch during the night time do not feed the child you don’t even need to dream feed the child mostly kids sleep about 5 to 6 hours at a stretch at this age and when they wake up the Cry for a feet and that’s the time that you should be feeding the child and the same pattern you should follow during the day time once if your child is not demanding for a feed then don’t feel the child feet only and only on demand
