Hi periods start after different time in different patients ... there is no fixed rule .. to some extent it depends upon if you are breast feeding ur child ...but u can conceive even if you are not having periods so use contraception

This is because the hormone that causes you to make milk, prolactin, also stops you from ovulating and having your period. If you are breastfeeding day and night, it can be up to a year before your period returns.
