I have a baby of 6 months.. and he is suffering for passing motion ..I have given suppository twice already as he not pooping for 6 to 7 days..after 1 week he is suffering with the same problem..what should I do

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzymfe preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in mfedical supervision .
