Q.
I have a baby boy who is 87 days old. My doubt is that he was given bcg at 43rd day. And there is no scar at the left arm. Is that okay or do I need to be concerned about it ? Thank you.

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. Did the baby get any swelling over the area where the BCG vaccination was given? Usually in a few weeks after giving the vaccination it will bulge and it gets filled with pus and then it will rupture leaving a scar. Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 3 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent, there is no problem if there is no scar on baby's arm due to vaccinations. You can wait for some more time ND check for the scar. Consult with your paediatric if necessary.
