A. Hair loss in babies is very common and because of many reasons. Because of the withdrawal maternal hormone initial hairfall is there. After birth all the hair of the baby remain in the resting phase and usually by 8 to 12 weeks of age shedding of hairs is there . Hairs will grow back mostly by 3-7 months but a proper quality hair will be there by around 2 years of afge. Cradle cap is also a cause for frequent shedding of hairs. alonfg with traction alopecia because of continuous pressure on head in lying position

A. hi please don't get panic it is normal to lose hair during first year of life. it happens because of Hormonal changes. so don't worry just apply coconut oil daily on your child hair give head bath twice in a week, use shampoo like Babyhug shampoo for this.
