Q.

I had got my periods on 28th Apr. On 5th May I took ipill and got my periods on 12th May again. I generally have 30 day cycle. When should I expect my next period, 28th May or 12th June

A. Since your natural cycle is 30 days and your last natural period started on 28th April, your next period would typically be due around 28th May. However, because you took the i-Pill (emergency contraceptive) on 5th May and had withdrawal bleeding on 12th May, this may temporarily disturb your cycle. If the 12th May bleeding was similar to your regular period, your body might reset the cycle from that date, making your next period due around 12th June. But due to the hormonal effect of the i-Pill, some irregularity is common, so your period might come a bit earlier or later. If delayed beyond two weeks, consider a pregnancy test or consult a doctor.
