Q.

i had covid so i was seperated from my 6 months old baby for 22 days.. now when we are unite he refuses to suck my nipple.. what to do to increase breast milk and make my baby suck again. it seems he forgot everything about breastfeeding..

A. this exactly happened with me last year I was also separated from my child for 1 month.. i faced the same problem.. but this problem was solved in 10 days only.. all you have to do is to just try breastfeeding when she is sleeping..even though she will not suck ..put nipple in her mouth at least she will feel it.. and you fill find she will start sucking again in few days

A. hello. this is very much normal that this separation has made the baby forgotten everything about the sucking motion. keep on trying very patiently with the baby it was done on the first day after the delivery. also you can't use manual breast pump to increase the quantity of milk production as the sucking action will help the muscles to work
