Also, as a breastfeeding mother you should have one extra meal as compared to earlier because nutrition requirements for breast feeding mothers are more. Eat mindfully and avoid processed and packaged foods. Have lean proteins like eggs, beans, pulses, low fat milk and milk products. Have healthy fats from almonds, flaxseed. Have small frequent meals and adequate fluid intake. Have a balanced diet having variety of food groups.
