Q.

I had breast abscess surgery when my baby was 1 month old. From then he is not taking breastfeeding directly.I am giving him BM by pumping and bottle feeding and also formula milk. But now my breast milk is reduced due to less sessions of pumping..But I want to increase BM.As I want to give my baby Less of formula milk and more breast milk. Can BM be increased by pumping???How to do it?? How many days it takes to increase supply??

A. So A lot of time kids can face the difficulty while taking breastfeed if there was a surgery or something like that that’s very normal and common but the good part is if your child is accepting your feeding with the help of a feeding bottle and you should continue feeding the child in the same pattern as that would be the right way to go about it and good for the child as well so if there’s any issues that you face during that then you should always consult a lactation specialist they can guide you the best
