I got my periods for the first time after delivery. Bleeding is really heavy. Is it normal?

A. Yes it is normal to have heavy and painful cycles for a few months after delivery. If you are changing one pad per hour or feeling dizzy consult your gynecologist for medications

A. Hello dear parent, this flow of bleeding totally depends on person to person. It should last 5 to 7 days and decrease in the flow with passing days. If that is happen the of course your periods are going normal.
