Q.

I ate peanuts and after breastfeeding my baby got allergies all over. I gave her cetrizine and the hives subsided. would like to ask is whether I should stop breastfeeding? if yes, when can i start giving again?

A. hi, for a day Or 2 you can give formula milk.. Give three meal and one snack a day Continue with breast feeding or formula milk feeding in between and on demand.

A. There is no reason to wean your baby from the breast if your baby develops signs of food allergies. If you change your diet, you and your baby should be able to enjoy breastfeeding until you are both ready to wean.

My 3 year old suddenly developed hives all over her body and we started medication on the same day..She was given Atarax and Omnicortil Forte syrups ...It's been 6 days now and it is not going away completely...After giving medicine hives are subsided but the area seem reddish .....The previous week she was down with viral fever .....We gave her PARACETAMOL and LEVOLIN as she had cough too.....No antibiotics was given ....It's been 2 weeks after fever but cough is not cured completely and now she has hives all over her body...Is it due to infection?
