Q.
I am towards the end of my 7th month of pregnancy. I have to travel in the beginning of my 9th month of my pregnancy. I do not have any complications and the pregnancy is running smoothly. Is it safe to travel at that point of time from Delhi to Chandigarh via road? P. S. - I am already a mom to a 1 year old toddler

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. if you are planning to travel it is better advised that you travel before 35 weeks of pregnancy so as to avoid any late complications as travelling after 36 weeks of pregnancy may cause severe pain and chances of Pre term delivery

But the distance between two cities is not really much on the road these days are amazingly good so I don’t think so it’s a problem but you need to check with your doctor before you travel if everything is good and she gives you a thumbs up then only you travel because you will be in the right time of your pregnancy and sometimes travelling and create a discomfort so it’s better to check with the doctor during that
