Q.

I am taking metformin 2 times daily even before I got pregnant bcz I had fasting sugar high last yr.. even though now my sugar levels are around 80 my doc told me to continue the tablets in pregnancy . I keep checking sugar levels and itswuthin range. but I m feeling extremely thirsty since last few days . do I still need to worry about diabetes

A. Symptoms of gestational diabetes Some women may develop symptoms if their blood sugar levels gets too high (hyperglycaemia), such as: increased thirst. needing to pee more often than usual. a dry mouth.
