I am mother of 2 year old..still breastfeeding.. many friends told me they gold periods after 6 month of delivery while breastfeeding.. is there any issue

A. Hai good evening !! Yes periods restarts by 3-8 months based on harmonal factors,body type ,mode of delivery, Haemoglobin irrespective of breast feeding or not. Some may feel like after getting periods breast milk reduces its a myth the actual reason is as baby grows milk production reduces ,so by taking lactating foods, calcium,iron rich foods helps in avoiding deficiencies , insufficient milk production. You can breast feed upto 2,2.5 years age if you are lactating enough and no issues of deficiencies.
