POOJA KOTHARIExpecting Mom due in 1 month3 months agoA. You're in your 8th month of pregnancy and experiencing loose motions — this can be common, but it's not always a sign of labor. Let’s break it down:
✅ Possible Causes of Loose Motion at 8 Months Hormonal changes: In late pregnancy, hormones may relax your muscles (including your bowel), leading to loose stools. Body preparation: Some women experience loose motion as the body prepares for labor, but this is more common in the last few days or hours before labor, not typically early in the 8th month. Dietary change or infection: Eating something spicy, new, or contaminated food can cause diarrhea. Prenatal supplements (iron/calcium): These sometimes upset digestion.
