Q.
I am having low platelets 75000 during my 9th month of pregnancy.After taking medicine prescribed by my doctor it is not increasing.Do i need to worry? What should i do?Can we go for normal delivery?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist1 Year agoA. yes. do ultrasound n necessary tests after consulting a specialist. without proper check up we can't advise or help you.. Avoid shirt cuts when it comes to health if mother n baby. ok.

well, low level of platelets are ok but if it is serverly low, then chances to get much bleeding during delivery are high.
so you must take necessary follow ups from your gynecologist and prefer the hospital for delivery where blood bank available for 24 hours a day
