#AskTheExpert hii..my son is 3 month old he was ill when he is 1month old due tu viral infection..that time his platelets decreased by 29000...he was admitted in hospital..his platelets increased upto 1lack...bt after some weeks his platelets again decreased ...n upto now it increases very slowly...now it is steady on 75000...what is reason behind this

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy3 years agoA. hello with infection the platelet count can vary and it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too as the baby is small
