Q.
I am having a severe hairfall after 4 months of delievery. I am concerned because before pregnancy I was getting treatment for hairfall. So I am worried if it is postpartum hairfall or should I check dermatologist if is other way around, Since this has become area of concern for me these days . Do you have any suggestions that would work to stop the hairfall ?

Dr Rashmi SriramMom of a 9 yr 2 m old girl4 years agoA. hi hairfall is common following delivery. It is due to shift in cycle from growing phase to falling phase. Healthy diet is important. weight reduction is important. Also better to consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and hair fall after delivery is very normal due to hormonal change. nd please mssage your hair with almond oil and kalaunjee oil. and clean with amla shikakai and reetha. nd add one to two amla in your daily diet in any form. take care
