ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Hello, This is very common and normal. The numbness can be caused by the after effects of the epidural/spinal and also by nerve damage from where the belly was cut.
Although some women regain feeling around their c/section scar within 4-8 weeks of birth, the majority will never regain complete.
