Q.

I am applying nuforce mouth paint for thrush for my one month old baby for the past 7 days twice a day but no improvement what should i do? and is it ok if baby is swallowing the paint?

A. With my New born baby I had face the same problem of oral thrush. My Doctor prescribed me clotrimazole mouth paint which i was applied Four times in a day as per the prescription of my Doctor. He also gave me two Tablets of flucanozole 50mg which he advised me to break each tablet in Four parts equally and each part dissolved with milk during feeding a baby per day one time. thereafter i found that within 2 days my baby oral thrush gone at some extent.

A. there is no problem if the baby is swelling the mouth paint using for mouth thrush in the baby if there is no relief it is better to consult your doctor once again for change of prescription
