I am a mother of one month baby. Can I take my covishield vaccination 2 Nd dose ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. corona vaccine can be given to both pregnant women and breastfeeding mother. as per the recommendations mother can take any brand of vaccine which is available in the market for corona infection. also can continue breastfeeding if going on. also mother can go for breastfeeding immediately after vaccination and if fever and pain occurs mother can take paracetamol. the vaccine is totally safe definitely you can take the vaccine as well as the booster

If You face any side-effects like body pain fever fever or any other thing associated with vaccination then you will not be able to breastfeed the child till the time you do not feel okay completely okay so I’m going to advise you to get it done after six months so that at least yeh child will be on complimentary food by then
