Q.

I am a mother of 6 week old child. My baby is fed formula and breast milk both since day one as people said I don’t have enough milk. I tried pumping and finding out. In the day time sometimes I get 100ml from both breast and by night it gets reduced to 30ml. Sometimes in day time also I get 30-40ml. I don’t have leaky breast, neither my breast feel tight. Does it mean I have low milk supply

A. you have to drink plenty of water and at least 500 ml milk everyday as well as homemade food from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits daily e asd well as you can go for shatavari supplement which will also help in increasing the breast milk formation (eg lactonic granules, galact granules etc ). you have to takef all the supplements that is calcium iron folic acid which has been given by your doctor till you are continuing breastfeeding of the child.
