Q.

I am a mom of 23 days old baby. If my baby doesn’t wake for feed at night, should I breastfeed him while he is in sleep? If yes what should be the time interval I should do this ?

A. yes you need to feed. During first two months you should maintain a gap of two hours between two feedings. But after completing two months it is advisable to feed your baby only on demand and do not give any forceful feeding on particular timings The feeding should be done atleast 10 minutes.

A. Actually Dr say like the paediatrician say that you should feed your child every two hours during the night time also if your child is sleeping you can do it this way but I have seen if the child is sleeping at the stretch for 5 to 6 hours that means your child is full for that duration so let your child sleep and feed the child when your child wakes up and demands for a feed and general also
