I am a lactating mother of 7month old baby girl. I missed my period by 42days but i did pregnancy test at home it was showing negative. I went for USG today and it shows no signs of pregnancy. Please tell me does USG show any sign of pregnancy if one is pregnant at 42nd day of missed period?

A. there can be different reasons for not having periods other than pregnancy like hormonal changes even TSH level need to be investigated please see your doctor for guidance in this regard
