Q.
I am a breastfeeding mom, do I need to stop breastfeeding before planning for another baby?

FatemaMom of a 2 yr 6 m old girl1 Year agoA. I'm a Mom and a Gynecologist.. U don't need to stop breastfeeding just because u have conceived.. u can safely continue upto 7 months.. or wean ur baby slowly.. there is no hurry in just stopping d breastfeeding.. both d babies are equally important.. the only thing is that as d pregnancy continues it becomes difficult for feeding.. so try to wean by 28weeks..

If you conceive then definitely you will have to quit on your breastfeeding as it is suggested when the woman is pregnant she should not continue breastfeeding the child but you do not conceive you should continue breastfeeding slowly you should start quitting once you are sure that you have already conceived with another child
