Q.
I am 39 months pregnant..today AFI index is 17.1..it is high than previous (14.7)..doctor suggested that go for sugar test..why AFI is increased?what are the reasons ?till now I didn't get pains. is it possible for normal delivery

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. already you are nearing for delivery no need to worry about this follow your doctor's guidelines Further it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination of the baby physically and if there is need to do any investigations if required

See It could actually be because of sugar that it has ardently increase it is better to go ahead with the test and anyways you are in your 39th week you will be very soon be ready to deliver so just go ahead with whatever your doctor is advising you to go for it he should be more sure about the reason behind it
