Q.

i am 18 week pregnant n had my tifa scan n found the fetus has mild hydronephrosis in its left kidneyl and it is 5mm in size...is it serious or will there be any problem in future .... kindly reply .i am really worried about my baby

A. you have to consult a fetal medicine specialist and they will check with the child is having hydronephrosis in the first place and accordingly they will tell you how to manage after birthWrite Your Answer Here

A. In 1 or 2 out of every 100 pregnancies, the fetus is diagnosed with hydronephrosis. In about half of these cases, the hydronephrosis goes away by the time the infant is born.
