Q.

I am 17 weeks pregnant and I have been told that my placenta is low lying..1 cm away from internal os..wat are the chances that it moves up as the pregnancy progress..or it may be considered high risk??

A. mostly after 17 weeks there are minimal chances that the Placenta would move upwards. you need to have regular follow up with your doctor and keep an observation if anytime you see Spotting you should immediately consult with your doctor for examination

A. It will move up..4 % people will have persistent low lying placenta ..V can confrom only after 7 months scan

A. I don’t normally it is not going to move up it is going to say the same way you have to take proper rest take precautions follow a proper diet whatever is needed to be done your gynaecologist is going to give you a detailed understanding of the situation
