kindly maintain oral hygiene of the child and with the help of your clean fingers press the gums of the child to decrease the pain and if the child is crying with pain and irritation you can give paracetamol also
to decrease the ppain many times children press their finger in between the gums as well as take dirty things in the oral cavity. you have to just maintain hygiene of the finger which is going inside the oral cavity and this is a self limiting habit

Buy a good brand teether for your baby. Maintain a good personal and oral hygiene for your baby. Give your child a well balanced healthy diet and keep hydrated.
