Q.

How to make the baby to deep latch ? My baby is always crying even though I fed him time to time …and also he is latching for more than an hour and moreover I am getting extreme Breast pain when he is sucking the milk

A. very important to see that position and attachment while breastfeeding the child is proper. if improper the child will continue to suck for long hrs without getting any milk meet lactational counsellor who will guide regarding this. see videos on you tube for breastfeeding position and attachment.s take plenty of water, home made diet, seasonal fruits and vegetables, milk for increasing breast milk for yourself. take 15 to 30 days weight and growth assessment by the doctor.

A. See first you check are you actually getting enough amount of milk to feed the child that your child is taking a feed for one hour that’s too much that’s very exhausting for a child and specially for a mother second when you feed your breast your breast with your hands so that the milk flow becomes better for the child to consume and if still you’re facing more of a problem please consult a lactation specialist
