How to know your baby is lactose intolerant? My son is 3.5 years and has chronic constipation. Whenever he consumes any dairy products the constipation worsens. Is it a sign of lactose intolerance? Thans

A. Constipation is a chronic problem seen in children and most important cause is diet modfification so firstly it should be taken care of. give gofod fibre diet with plenty of liquids and avoidance of food which can aggravate constipation like Banana excess of milk and maida containing food. medications like lactulose PEG or glycerine suppository should be second option
