By giving healthy breast feeding to the child see you to understand even of the child is hundred percent on breast feeding it is not necessary that your child is going to gain good weight with breast feeding in that case you have to go ahead with formula feeding and if your child is gaining well with the breastfeeding that there is no problem but right now since your concern is with breast feeding and weight gain together then it is only going to be with the breastfeeding that you are living there is no other alternative to that
