A. constipation in small babies is very commonly seen and is more when you are giving formula feeding in such a case you can give Himalaya bonnisan drops three times a day to your child and give frequent feeding usually medicines or suppositories are avoided in such a case and constipation of few days can be considered as normal. if the baby is having gastric pain you can give collimax drops.if you need to give any enzyme preparation to your child you can consult dsmoctor.give proper tummy time and burping to avoid gastric trouble.

A. Lay the baby on the back and pedal his legs. This cyclic movement will ease the bowel movement. Some babies pass stools once in four or five days while some pass even more than five times a day which are perfectly normal in breastfed babies. Touch and feel the baby's tummy. If it's hard or the baby is cranky or crying more than usual then u should consult with ur pediatrician. If not u can wait upto seven days.
