A. To help your 1-year-old baby gain weight, offer calorie-dense and nutritious foods like ghee, butter, mashed banana, avocado, full-fat dairy, and dry fruits powder mixed with porridge. Include protein-rich foods like eggs, lentils, and paneer. Feed small, frequent meals and ensure a balanced diet with fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Encourage self-feeding to improve appetite. Breastfeeding or full-cream milk (if not allergic) can also support weight gain. If your baby is not gaining weight despite a good diet, consult a pediatrician to rule out any underlying issues.
