how to gain weight for 4 month baby

A. baby is 4 month Weight gain depeens upon birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it feed for 10 to 15 min from each side it should double the birth weight by 5 month of age

A. There is not much you can do to increase the weight of a 4 months old baby except to feed breastmilk or formula milk fully and frequently. Feed in every 3-4 hours and if required, one time night feed too. From 5-6 months, you can also include semi solid foods like lentil puree, apple, pear and carrot puree, mashed banana, ragi and sooji porridge, home made cerelac, etc. as it will help in increasing the weight slowly.
